Here is my easel area. This is a great location for it as I can really back away from my work. ( which I do about every 5 min.) The table in front of my easel (Yard sale for $5.00) was put on casters to raise it up as well as make it easy to move around. This table has plate glass on it which I use as my large oil palette.
The rolling caddy, on the left, is a great height as well. It has 2 adjustable chrome shelves with a wooden top. It is a microwave cart from Target.(much less expensive then one designed specifically for artists It keeps all my oil paints handy as well as tape and clips which hang off of hooks built into the cart.
The black draped unit to the right (thrift store find) Has a lid that opens up which my large studio pastel box rests on as well as vertical space storage below for pastel panels.
